Elyse Marie: My evolving imprint and personal translation of what wellness means to me

I had struggled over the course of many years to find spiritual, physical, and emotional balance. It is a never ending journey of self exploration, triumphs, and failures. My hope is to share, connect, help, and create an inclusive environment of love and support for others who can relate.
Wellness is not just about what you eat and what you put on your body. It's a lifestyle and a constant search for what works on an individual level.
Being enriched and enlightened is what stimulates and strengthens me, and I am personally fulfilled by sharing my discoveries in hopes to enlighten others.

Your voice matters! What inspires and motivates you? Here you have an opportunity to positively impact others. I would love to hear from you. Please feel liberated to openly share your stories with me, or any thoughts or questions you may have regarding all aspects of wellness.

Beauty, a cultural evolution in time.

When the word supermodel comes to mind, what imagery appears? Possibly Angelina Jolie or a Victoria Secret angel? The media works vigorously to imprint our minds with what they want us to perceive as beautiful.

Let’s talk Energy.

When you think of natural skin and haircare, energy is probably the furthest thought from your mind.

Winter Mantra: Ritual for the mind, body, and soul.

When we think about the health of our bodies, we must be mindful of what that really means. If you are like me you may experience changes within yourself both physically and emotionally as the seasons change. We are made up of the same energies of all that lives around us, so if we can put that into perspective we can understand on a more profound level what’s really happening when the climates change.

Facial Cupping: an ancient ritual.

Say goodbye to modern technology and let's go back to the basics. Ever wonder why some Botanical ingredients and methods of healing have existed for thousands of years? I believe the answer is simple... because they work.

Self expression; working through emotions.

I had an interest in art in my early teens. It was not something that was necessarily acceptable, or that I was exposed to as a child. It was just a raw innate attraction.

Castor oil: The Ayurvedic Powerhouse.

Used both externally and internally, Castor oil has so many health benefits! It's anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and antioxidant properties provide incredible beauty benefits as well.

What's the deal with Turmeric?

Turmeric as we know it has traditionally been a major component of Indian cooking and herbal medicine. More recently turmeric has become the new "it" health spice worldwide. You see it in food, skincare, and as a beverage (golden milk anyone?), but what's really so great about it and why should we be consuming more?

Awakening = Lightness = Gratitude

I knew my husband was a keeper when he came over my house for dinner and I had all the windows wide open with the residual burnt aroma of dried sage.Letting off it's final remnants in the corner of my kitchen, I told him I was "cleansing" my home. I could see in his eyes when he didn't look at me strangely or laugh that he understood. I was cleansing my home, myself, and everything I absorb within my daily travels.

What is the deal with Face-mapping?

Originating from the ancient Chinese practices of "face-reading" and Ayurveda, face-mapping is a method that uses the face as an indicator of a person's healthy, personality, and fortune.

What's not to love about Lavender?

Not only does it have profound health benefits when used as aromatherapy to aid relaxation. It also alleviates headaches, improves sleep, and most importantly when incorporated topically it has magical results.

My interpretation of Wellness is a commitment we make to ourselves.

A dedication in mind, body, and soul to consistently achieve ones individual health based on our own unique blueprints. Judgement free.

Why are we so obsessed with Witch Hazel?

Witch Hazel, is a common North American shrub originally used by American Indians to fight swelling, sores, and infections. It is packed with tannins, a skin-healing astringent which works to combat many skin ailments by reducing inflammation and cellular damage.

Discovering your gifts: "The purpose of life is to find your gifts, and the meaning of life is to give them away." - Pablo Picasso

My true journey began at 19. I was an artist like so many others. Struggling to channel my hobbies and passions into an emotionally fulfilling career, I entered a university to fine tune my love for painting.

SOURCE; and why it's so important to us.

The importance of source when it comes to ingredients is not only directly related to quality. For us it is necessary to profoundly understand the direct extraction, origin of where each ingredient thrives, and natural characteristics.
